Windows 10 crash on registering application

I've installed the breakaway demo on a windows 10 machine which never had breakaway installed.
I enter the product key in the about menu, but when clicking "Register", breakaway promptly crashes.

I've tried this over multiple days, before/after reboots etc.
Running on a fully updated Windows 10 Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.51) according to Winver.

I wish I could throw money at this proble, but it would do nothing so I'm without options.
I'm just trying to register the software I bought.

You should try installing the latest version of Breakaway Audio Enhancer from here:
http://www.claessonedwards.com/download/breakaway_setup_1.40.03.exe
which was updated to work with Windows 10

Is this an updated build from after I made my original post on August 11, 2016 ?

There was at least a build up that should be working with windows 10 at that point
On my previous machine I had endless problems with BreakAway before this update, so on my new machine I waited until Windows 10 compatibility was listed for a current build from the website.

When I made the original post, I downloaded a copy from the website at that point and installed on a machine that never previously had breakaway on it.
So unless 1.40.03 has been released after that point, I'm not sure anything has changed.

The crash log you posted says you're using version "1.3.0.5".
